A Comparison Between Big And Small Screen: What’s The Best?

The world of television is constantly changing, and with it so must our viewing habits. It’s now become easier than ever to watch your favorite shows on a regular basis. Thanks to the multitude of streaming services and devices available, you don’t even have to own a TV anymore in order to watch your favorite shows. That being said, not all TVs are created equal when it comes to picture quality. In this blog post we will go over everything you need to know about big and small screen in order to make an informed purchasing decision!

screen

While some can reproduce colors as accurately as you remember from your childhood or an old classic movie, others look like they were designed by someone who has never seen a color before in their life. The latter type of TVs are known as cheap-looking or tacky TVs because they give off an artificial look that makes everything look fake and unreal. But there are also some very expensive TVs out there that won’t make you feel any better about how much money you just spent on them either.

The average person wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between a cheap-looking TV versus one that was built with more expensive materials at first glance, but if you have the right knowhow, it’s very easy to spot which type of TV you’re looking at.

What’s The Difference Between A Big And Small Screen?

A big screen is often used to describe a very large-size television set. In this case, the term “big” is used to differentiate between a large and small-size television. However, it doesn’t necessarily mean that this television set is meant for an audience that is larger in size (i.e. a giant’s audience).

This can apply to a wide variety of setups and uses. There are many factors that determine whether a  Reelcraze TV is big or small. Chiefly, the screen size is the most important one. A screen size is measured in inches, so a 50-inch TV is 50 inches across. Other factors that come into play include the kind of picture quality you’re looking for, the price point you have in mind, and your intended use for the television.

Differences Between HD And 4K

HD is the traditional standard for televisions. It’s the most common type of picture quality that you’ll find among all televisions, regardless of the screen size. With an HD screen, you’ll be able to view high-definition (HD) content, such as videos shot in 720p resolution.

At the time of writing this post, a good 1080p TV will cost you around $500, while a 4K TV will set you back around $1,000. Although 4K televisions are the hot new thing, they’re not new at all. The first 4K TVs were released in 2013, and they were massive expensive experiments that cost around $10,000.

However, as the technology keeps improving, prices are coming down, and more and more people are switching to 4K TVs. If HD is the most common type of picture quality and 4K is the most expensive, then what’s the difference between them? The difference between HD and 4K is that 4K is four times as clear. As you can see in the image below, 4K TVs look much sharper than standard HD TVs.

OLED vs. LED

OLED is considered to be the best type of display for televisions, providing you with the sharpest picture quality. OLED displays use organic light-emitting diodes (OLED) and so they are thinner, lighter, and more power efficient than LED Reel Craze  TVs. But the main advantage of OLED is that they are highly capable of displaying blacks, which makes them perfect for watching shows and movies that were filmed in a dark room.

On the other hand, LED TVs are brighter and more cost-effective than OLED TVs. They are cheaper and also brighter than OLED screens because they use LEDs as their backlight. This type of TV is perfect for room that get a lot of sunlight because they are brighter.

Smart Versus Regular TV

Smart TVs are the new thing and they come with a wide range of innovative features that users can use to “get things done” on their TVs. They can connect to the internet, let you stream your favorite shows and movies, stream music, and much more. The main problem with smart TVs is that you’re expected to shell out some serious cash in order to get one.

As of writing this post, there are only a handful of 4K TVs that aren’t smart TVs. That being said, TV manufacturers are continuously improving the smart TV experience, and more and more standard TVs are turning into smart TVs nowadays. The best way to decide if you need a smart TV is to think about whether you’ll be using any of the above features on a regular basis.

Differences Between 3D and 4K

3D TVs are still alive and well, but they are nowhere near as popular as they used to be. The main reason for this is that most major TV manufacturers have switched to 4K TVs and only a handful offer 3D TVs. There are only a few 4K TVs that offer both 4K and 3D viewing modes.

And even those TVs will typically only come with 2D 3D viewing modes. So what’s the difference between 3D and 4K? The main difference between 3D and 4K is that 4K TVs can also display in 2D. Although many newer movies are still being filmed in 3D, you can usually find movies that are only in 2D.

Conclusion

At the end of the day, it comes down to your intended use for the television set. If you want to spend less money on a big screen while still being able to view high-quality content, then a smaller screen is probably for you.

However, if you want to splurge on a luxury item that will definitely make your living room look better, we recommend going with a bigger screen instead. If you can’t decide which is best for you, you should consider taking a look at the different types of TVs and which one best suits your needs.
