Furniture And Kitchen With Washi Tape

Washi tape can make up almost any piece of furniture. Add a strip to the edge of a shelving unit, resurface a table with it or liven a dresser with colourful patterns inside or along the sides of a drawer. You can breathe new life to a boring lampshade with tape embellishments or turn storage boxes into decorative pieces as well.

Level up your tag embellishments with washi tape

Level up your tag embellishments with pretty pieces of washi tape laid down in diagonal stripes across the tag. This is another great way to use up both your scrap cardstock and any washi tapes you want to use up.

Your imagination is the only limit. And better yet, you don’t need to make a long-term commitment to your colour scheme. Bored with the red tape on a vase? Buy a roll (or two) of green washi tape and replace the red with the green. It will give your furniture and accents a whole new look in no time with little effort.

Kitchens And Bathrooms

You can make a bold statement with custom washi tape in kitchens and bathrooms or use it to add a splash of colour on accent pieces. For a more colourful approach, you can apply washi tape to the entire surface of cabinets and drawers or add bright patterns to them instead. Washi tape can also frame a mirror or trim a countertop.

Or, you can incorporate colour in these rooms with washi tape-decorated accent pieces. Wrap the tape around a utensil jar in the kitchen or around a glass container filled with cotton balls in the bathroom. Washi tape can jazz up a tissue box, add style to your barstools and decorate your recipe box.  Just remember that custom washi tape is only semi-water resistant, so you won’t want to use it in areas or on things that will repeatedly get wet.

Use your craft punches to punch out pretty washi tape shapes

This is one of my favourite things to do with washi tape in my scrapbooking as it uses up both my scrap paper and any washi tape that’s been sitting around for a while.

Grab some scrap pieces of paper and cover them with strips of washi tape. Once it’s completely covered, trim the edges of the tape so that they are in line with the edges of your scrap card. Then, using various craft paper punches, cut out some nice shapes that now feature the beautiful patterns of your washi tapes.

How Wooden Pins Are Helpful?

Wooden pins, also known as dowels, are cylindrical wooden rods that are used in a variety of applications, including woodworking, furniture-making, and craft projects. Wooden pins are helpful because they provide a strong and sturdy connection between two pieces of wood without the use of nails or screws.

One of the key benefits of using wooden pins is that they do not leave behind any unsightly holes, unlike nails and screws, making them ideal for use in fine woodworking and furniture-making. Additionally, because wooden pins are made from natural materials, they blend seamlessly into the wood, creating a more aesthetically pleasing result.

Another benefit of wooden pins is that they are easy to use. Unlike nails and screws, which require specialised tools for installation, wooden pins can be easily inserted by hand. This makes them a great choice for DIY projects, as well as for use by professional woodworkers and carpenters.

Wooden pins are also very versatile and can be used in a variety of different projects, including cabinetry, furniture-making, and even in the construction of wooden toys and puzzles. They can be used to connect two pieces of wood at right angles, to secure joints, or to provide additional support.

In addition to their practical uses, wooden pins are also a great choice for crafting and decorating projects. They can be stained or painted to match the surrounding wood, or they can be left in their natural state for a rustic look. They can be used to create decorative elements, such as pins or pegs, or they can be used to secure fabric or other materials to a piece of wood.

Finally, wooden pins are an environmentally friendly and sustainable option. Unlike metal fasteners, they are made from a renewable resource, and they can be easily recycled or repurposed when no longer needed.

In conclusion, wooden pins are a highly versatile and useful tool that are helpful in a variety of applications. Whether you’re a professional woodworker, a DIY enthusiast, or simply looking for a new way to decorate and create, wooden pins are a great choice.
