On September 27, 2002, Jenna Ortega was born in Coachella Valley, California, in the United States. She is her parents’ fourth child and is of Mexican and Puerto Rican descent.

She grew up in the Coachella Valley, a desert valley in Southern California, with her four siblings, two sisters, Aliyah and Mia, and two brothers, Markus and Isaac.
